Go south on Wexford for about one mile. Turn left on Ashford, and go two blocks.

As a lot of you know, Jenny Stephan is moving a little way south, down near Indy. There will be a going away get together for Jenny on February 24th around 8 pm at the West point Lounge in Westville. Its on route 6 just west of route 2. Anyone who would like to wish her well is welcome to stop by. Jenny is still a member of Duneland HOG so we will see her during the summer when she is up in our area. We may even plan a trip to let her show us the sights in her new area.
That brings us to Saturday the 25th and our next breakfast at Suzie's. We had a great crowd this past week. We are now strictly ordering off the menu and the general consensus is this is what is preferred. This way you can order what you want, how you want it and as little or as much as you want. We have decided that Suzie’s will now be our Saturday Morning breakfast place.
There will be a chili cook off at Kersting’s in North Judson on Saturday. The time for this is 11 am eastern if you would like to go and try out some different kinds of chili.
Also this weekend is the Indiana Motorcycle Show in Indianapolis.
Tuesday February 28th is the next nooner. The group will be going back to Buffalo Wild Wings in downtown Valpo. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun.
That brings is to March 3rd and our next Saturday breakfast at Suzie’s.
March 4th, Sunday, will be our annual Crazy Bowl. Please mark this on your calendar and try to attend if possible. We will meet at Camelot Lanes in Hobart on route 6 at 12 noon. Dust off your bowling ball and shoes and come out and have some crazy fun. Everyone will pay for their own games and equipment and food is also your responsibility. They have food there if you get hungry. This is the time to have fun and make a fool of yourself and no one cares because everyone is doing the same thing!
Then last but not least is Wednesday March 7th, which is out next social. Dinner at 6, meeting at 7. If you have something to present to the group please come and have your say. If you have an idea for a ride or is there is something you would like to do, let us know.

Also, 2012 dues are due. Please pay at the March social or drop them off at Valpo Harley before the end of this month. If we don't get your dues by then we will have to remove you from the mailing list so it's important for you to get your dues paid. They are required to be paid by the end of January but we try to give you a little wiggle room, but the wiggle is almost over.
Our annual Crazy Bowl is March 4th. We are hoping to go back to Camelot Lanes again this year. More information will be coming on the time (probably noon) and the costs and food.
March 28th we are going to have a road captain meeting. Again, more information will be sent on this. Please think about becoming a road captain as this position is so important. Being a road captain does not mean you have to lead the ride. Depending on the size of the group road captains are needed throughout the line and at the back. If you aren't sure about what the road captains duties are or you would just like more information please plan in coming to this meeting. We also are encouraging our current road captains to come and share your wealth of information.
Also upcoming are the Blessing of the Bikes with a nice ride afterwards and our very important New Rider Orientation Ride. This ride is not just for new riders, it is for anyone who needs a brushup after a long winter or anyone who just wants to go out for a nice ride and food!
Also in the works is a Spring Breakout Party tentativly scheduled for May 6th. We don't have many details on this yet but we are working on it.
Duneland Harley Owners Group is a very active group and if riding your Harley with a group is your intent, then this is the place to be. We begin the year on January 1st with our Annual Polar Bear ride. Throughout the year, Duneland HOG has many organized activities...some for members only, and others open to the public.
