After checking the weather forecast we have decided to cancel our Blessing of the Bikes ride. We are going to try and reschedule for May 12th and we will let you know as soon as this date is firm.
Breakfast is still on for tomorrow at Suzies so I hope to see all of you there, or at the dealership after breakfast. Don’t forget that we have our monthly social on Wednesday May 2 nd. We will be having a road captain meeting following the social so please plan on staying a little while longer. Les will have a lot of great information for you.
Sunday May 6th is our Spring Breakout Party. We will meet behind the dealership at 10:30. The cost for this event is $5 per person. After we return from a nice ride everyone will draw 5 cards and whoever draws the best poker hand will win the pot. The club will be providing pop and pizza and we will have the 50/50 drawing.
Hopefully May 12 th will be our rescheduled date for the Blessing of the Bikes. We will leave the dealership at 10:30 and ride to Heartland Christian Center on 49 South of Valpo for the blessing and then head out on a ride. If you can’t meet us at the dealership meet us at the church. May 16th, Wednesday, is our next dinner ride to Carlson’s Drive Inn in Michigan City. We will be leaving the dealership at 6 pm.
Then the following Saturday, May 19 th, is our new rider orientation ride. New riders, seasoned riders, come one come all. We will go on a ride and maybe learn a little something along the way. We will leave Valpo Harley at 10:30.
Don’t forget that every Tuesday is the OFR. Check the calendar for destinations.
I guess this is about all I have for you for now. See you all Wednesday evening for dinner and the social.
